It takes some work to get this thing centered in the screen and getting a piece of furniture for this thing to sit on with the right height and distance from the wall is not possible, which really really sucks but that’s what you sign up for as a possibility with USTs. Salamander makes some nice units for other short throws but not this one and regardless you better have 8,000 to drop on that if there were. That said, the picture quality is damn good and I can watch it in the middle of the day with the blinds open and all the lights on and still see it from across the house without any issues. It’s strong folks.

Even though I’m still fine-tuning the setup and working on keystoning the projector and screen, the results so far have been absolutely stunning. The picture quality is nothing short of incredible. I’m confident that once everything is finalized, this will be the highlight of our family’s Thanksgiving celebration.

The 3500 has beautiful colors and when you put it in 1080p you get 120 hz at input lag of 8, but guess what the 1080p looks like it's 4k. This is a really good projector.
